Hunan Kitchen in Hazelwood

Very disappointed. I just moved to hazelwood and I just ordered an order of mai fun and a pepper steak lunch combo. The quality of the food and very bland and the wonton was very over cooked. I’m very upset that I wasted so much on so little. I paid over $34 for only 2 things and a small order of shrimp rolls. That means for this cost I got 1 order of noodles with meat and a lunch combo that had (1) scoop of meat in it. I have never seen a lunch combo this small before anywhere. I called just to find out what actually costed THIS MUCH. Because the portions were SO SMALL. She told me she charged me almost $4 in taxes and regardless of what you order it’s a $5 delivery fee in addition to. I’m very upset, she gave me the price but if the portions were worth it, I get it. But NOT THIS. I won’t be ordering from here again. China peace has great food and like most other Chinese restaurants any order over $16 is a free delivery and is quicker then jimmy johns. I highly recommend them

Only Chinese place I will eat at. Family owned. Been going here for as long as I can remember. Watched the son grow up. Food is amazing

Nastiest St. Louis Chinese food. Chicken was brown on the inside and crab Rangoon had barely any filling. Don't waste your money.

Just the best general tso's chicken I had. Crispy. Sauce was perfect. Soup is delicious. Highly recommended.

literally the WORST Chinese food I've ever had a waste of money couldnt even take 3 bites because it was so nasty. Don't get the sweet and sour chicken or lo mein. Didn't even put the filling in my crab Rangoon

Ordered food and it never showed up, called them to ask where my order was and they said it was on the way so I waited 30 more minutes then called back and they kept answering then hanging up right away. Don’t waste your time with this place

Worst experience there I have ever had . I walk in at 2:25 don't get any help to 231 and when I ask for the luncheon special the ignorant guy comments and says that I'm too late. I then informed him that I had been sitting there for 5+ minutes waiting for service, then he continued to half and puff about it finally after two minutes of arguing about it I finally got it for the luncheon price. then once my food was ready he threw it on the counter and walked to the back. After I arrive home to check my food there is literally for a little chunks of chicken . I am never going back there that is horrible

This place is horrible. The food was cold and soggy and when I called to talk with them they popped an attitude and refused to talk with me. Bridgeton China Express is twice as good, more food and way better price. I ordered the same meal from them, got more food and spent 10 dollars less.

Chinese food doesnt taste Chinese. The chicken teriyaki and fried rice just taste plain soy sauce. All the 3 foods we ordered doesn't taste good. The lady was so rude! Waste of money. It doesn't deserve a single star! I just cant understand people who can't cook have the guts to sell food. The worst Chinese food i had ever.

This was my second and last time I'll be dining here. I ordered on the phone, came to pick up a little earlier than the 15 mins I was told for my pickup. I was searching for my debit card ( no customers in restaurant btw ) and the woman just stood there impatiently staring. I said "This will be a minute". She huffed and continued to stare. Once I paid I requested extra hot mustard please? She said "I gave you three!" I really felt as though my patronage was a major inconvienence! Jeez! To top it food was greasy and tasted like soy sauce. I could make that myself! I can also get treated poorly for free and not pay for it! My bill was 7.60 and they hit my debit for 9.12! This place may be close to home? But Ill take a lil longer trip up Shackelford anytime! I can deal with mediocre quisine. Attitude? So sowwy Charlie! Wrong tuna!

So far so good. This was our first visit and we've been looking for a new regular Chinese take out place. This might be it.

Wow was really shocked!!! The quality & quantity of the food has really gone down hill!!! So sad to see this happen right near our home but will drive a little further to get better food!!!

Ordered the pad thai lunch combo. On a subsequent visit ordered the Mongolian beef. I was led to believe the Mongolian beef came with noodles, but it came with fried rice. Both dishes were satisfactory. I was able to sub egg drop soup for the hot & sour on the second visit. The egg roll that came with the Thai lunch combo was preferable to the wonton that came with the Chinese combo.

Love the food at this Chinese restaurant! Wish they were closer to my house.

I order at 1pm, it arrived at 2pm, and I live about 2 miles from restaurant. Maybe that's okay if it's good, but it wasn't. I specifically said no green pepper, but got plenty. The General Tso chicken was soggy and bland, the pot stickers were flavorless and the vegetable fried rice was over seasoned with soy. What a shame for what was once great food. And at $35+ I expect better.
